JF & SON LIPS BY AURORA EVENT OCTOBER 29

JF & Son and Travis Boyer’s MFT (my favorite things) 

is proud to present Lips By Aurora, a capsule 

collection of designs based on 23 lip-shaped paintings

by international artist Aurora Pellizzi. The landscape

of Aurora’s lips are reiterated in printed silk textiles, 

beaded and embroidered jewelry, and in the sensuous lines 

of her leather handbag. Rejecting the rectangle as a given

painting space, Pellizzi has utilized the curvilinear 

corporeal shape of a pair of lips as the given geometry 

within which to describe a full range of experience. 

The lips contain abstractions and folklore, scenes that 

describe a sensitive moment with a cat, a child in utero,

and the sound inside a shell.
